Black Friday Gas Station Robbery

Montgomery County Police are on the scene of an armed robbery in Silver Spring.

The Shell gas station at 9510 Georgia Avenue was robbed in the 6:00pm hour this evening. The suspect obtained an unknown amount of cash and a large amount of Newport cigarettes according to responding officers. Police are currently looking for a black male who may be wearing a puffy black Columbia jacket. He may be driving a black Scion vehicle with Virginia plates KMS3113.

As always, DO NOT approach the suspect if spotted. Instead, call local police or dial 911 immediately.

Montgomery Co. Police Investigate Homicide

Silver Spring, MD -

Montgomery County Police are investigating an apparent homicide that occurred last night in Silver Spring, MD. The body of the deceased female was discovered early this morning by police who were responding to a 911 call from a pay phone. The 911 call featured an anonymous male caller who told the operator that he had killed his wife several hours earlier.

It was later discovered that the callers name was Bernardo Paz-Flores-Olvera, who is 32 years old.
